The National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research awards Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants, also known as America’s Seed Fund. These programs allow US-owned and operated small businesses to engage in federal research and development that has a strong potential for commercialization.
The second CTOR patent is being commercialized after its launch in the Spring 2016. VPro5 is now available to dentists and orthodontists.
Dr. Alikhani presented at the 4th International Meeting of Orthodontists, Colombian Society of Orthodontist and The Automonous University of Manizales. Manizales, Colombia. He was also guest speaker and participant on a workshop on “Synergy Between University, Industry and Government – A Strategy for Development “ where CTOR was introduced as a successful example of these close collaborations.
CTOR was in Orlando, Florida, for the AAO Annual Meeting. Dr Alikhani, lectured on our patented accelerated tooth movement technique. He also presented for the first time the research on cortical drift, which is revolutionizing orthodontic treatment of severe skeletal malformations.
