CTOR Academy is offering a 2-day ADA CERP–approved CE course designed specifically for orthodontic residents: Mechanotherapy: From Moderate to Severe Malocclusions. This course blends biomechanics theory with practical skills to help residents build confidence and competence in treating complex cases using advanced, evidence-based mechanics.
Tailored for first- and second-year orthodontic residents, the course introduces treatment staging, one- and two-couple systems, friction, torque, and the physics behind biological response. You’ll also gain hands-on experience in wire bending and explore how to accelerate tooth movement and push the limits of non-surgical orthodontics.
Course Faculty:
Led by international leaders in orthodontic research and education:
🟣 Dr. Mani Alikhani – Dean, CTOR Academy & Faculty at Harvard
🟣 Dr. Fanar Abdullah – Assistant Professor, CTOR Academy
🟣 Dr. Marcos Giovanetti – Associate Professor, CTOR Academy
Course Details:
Tuition: $1,400 USD (includes breakfast, coffee breaks, and 13 CE credits)
Open to Orthodontic Residents Only
Topics include:
• Non-surgical treatment of severe malocclusions
• Wire bending biomechanics (hands-on sessions)
• Basic to advanced aligner treatment strategies
