The CTOR community was proud to participate in the 2025 IADR General Session in Barcelona, where faculty, residents, and researchers showcased our latest work in orthodontic innovation and biomaterials.

The Orthodontic Research Group held an engaging oral session focused on Advances in Orthodontic Appliances and Predictive Modeling for Treatment Efficiency. CTOR Associate Professor Dr. Marcos Giovanetti co-chaired the session and presented his study, “Can the Use of Chewies Influence Therapy with Clear Aligners,” offering fresh insights into aligner optimization.

Also representing CTOR Academy was Vincent DeMaio, a second-year resident, who presented his research project, “Evaluating the Mechanical Properties of Printable Resins with Different Ceramic Particle Composition.” His work, mentored by Dr. Giovanetti, contributes to the growing field of 3D-printable orthodontic materials.

CTOR Press was also active at IADR 2025! CEO Dr. Chinapa Sangsuwon represented our publishing arm, hosting the Orthodontics Research Group business meeting in her capacity as Secretary and Treasurer. This group brings together leading orthodontic researchers from around the world to drive progress and share findings.
Congratulations to all the presenters and participants. Your dedication continues to move the profession forward!
