We at CTOR are committed to improving Orthodontics through numerous avenues: Basic Sciences Research, Clinical Research, Education, Publishing, Organized Dentistry and Patient Care. Along each avenue, we promote current researchers and students who share our passion for innovation.
We are especially proud to recognise and support these hard-working scientists through two award competitions offered at the annual IADR General Session:
- The CTOR Award for Student Excellence in Orthodontics Research acknowledges excellence in Orthodontics Research conducted and presented by dental students and graduate students. The top 3 finalists receive cash and a Certificate of Recognition for their outstanding research efforts.
- The INNOVATION Award for Excellence in Orthodontics Research acknowledges excellence in Orthodontics Research conducted and presented by Orthodontics innovators at all levels – faculty, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, dental residents, and dental students. One winner receives a Certificate of Recognition, a cash award, and expedited review to publish his/her award-winning research in INNOVATION, an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal published by CTOR Press
