3 CTOR Fellows were accepted to Post-Graduate Orthodontics Program

December 2015 – 3 CTOR Fellows from Class of 2015-2016 were accepted to the selective NYU College of Dentistry’s Post-Graduate Orthodontics Program, starting July 2016. This is the 5th class in a row that Fellows have been offered seats for some of the most prestigious programs.

CTOR received SBIR award

September 2015 – The National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research awarded a competitive Phase I Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grant of $224,139 to CTOR. The award was to support CTOR's research collaboration with Propel Orthodontics Inc, on clinical applications of CTOR's patented method of using high frequency accelerations to restore alveolar bone loss as a result of tooth extractions and osteoporosis.

CTOR Award in Translational Dental Research 2015

Translational research has been the main engine driving advances in Medicine. To promote the same effort in Dentistry, the Consortium for Translational Orthodontic Research (CTOR) in collaboration with the AADR New York Section proposes a CTOR AWARD for the top 3 Dental students and 3 Post-Graduate students that attempt to advance patient care in Clinical Dentistry utilizing current scientific principles.

NYUCD Research Day 2015

In April 2015, CTOR Fellows and students presented their research projects at New York University College of Dentistry Annual Research Day.
